Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of SharpCast at sharpcast.co.uk. By creating an account, subscribing, or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility, 18 plus only

SharpCast is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to view betting analysis in your jurisdiction. Gambling can be addictive. Please gamble responsibly and within your means. Support is available from GambleAware.org, the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, and self exclusion at gamstop.co.uk.

3. What SharpCast provides, and what it does not

SharpCast is an information and analysis service. We publish statistical model probabilities for football fixtures, expressed as a likelihood with a stated confidence. We do not place bets, hold funds, or act as a bookmaker.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid membership is billed through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your chosen payment method at the advertised price and interval until you cancel. Prices are shown before you confirm. We may change prices with reasonable advance notice; a change never affects the period you have already paid for.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before it renews.

5. Cancellation and the 14 day cooling off period

You can cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal, reached from your account page under billing. When you cancel, your membership continues until the end of the current paid period and then stops; it does not renew again.

As a new subscriber you have a 14 day cooling off period under UK consumer law. If you cancel within 14 days of first subscribing you are entitled to a refund. After 14 days, your subscription runs to the end of the current billing period and is not refunded for the unused part of that period unless required by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share, resell, scrape, or redistribute our picks, data, or pages without our written permission;
• share your account or sign in credentials with anyone else;
• attempt to access areas of the service you are not authorised to use, or to interfere with its security or operation;
• use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

7. Intellectual property

The SharpCast name, brand, model, picks, written content, and the design of the site are owned by SharpCast or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Your subscription grants you a personal, non transferable right to view the content for your own use. It does not transfer any ownership to you.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any betting losses, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or from any decision you make based on our analysis. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not remove any protection you have as a consumer under the law of your home country.
