Closing line value against the Pinnacle closing line is our primary measure of model quality, because it tracks genuine edge in weeks where a profit and loss sheet needs years. Subscriber retention is our primary measure of business quality. We report yield and closing line value first; strike rate is shown alongside average odds, since a high win rate on short prices is a vanity number on its own.
How we talk about picks
We frame everything probabilistically. The model states an outcome with a stated confidence based on the data. We never present a result as a foregone conclusion. Confidence is in the process, not in any single result.
